Community Garden Information

Poolesville Presbyterian Church is proud to host and provide management of the Poolesville Community Garden. It was created several years ago with local businesses, individuals, the town of Poolesville, and other volunteers to make it what it is. Plots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We always offer returning plot-holders to renew their plot(s).

Signup for the Poolesville Community Garden is available. Click here to sign up now to reserve your plot(s) ... if none are available we will put you on a waiting list

The Community Garden has its own Facebook page as well. Click here to go there.

Here are a couple of past activities that the garden sponsored (more to come!!):

  • Annual event: Community Seed Swap. Held in January, the Community Seed Swap is open to the gardeners as well as the public to come to the garden and get seeds, share seeds, and discuss gardening topics.
  • Annual event: GardenFest. Held during May, GardenFest is an event open to the public where donated gardening tools, plants, etc. are available to purchase. The monies raised are used to support the garden infrastructure.
